How To Show Up & Be Willing … So You Can Make A Huge Impact On Your Life

To live the life you want and deserve, you must be WILLING to show up!

What do we mean by this?

Put the effort in, make things happen, be willing to do what it takes!

In many of my blog posts, I write about the Law of Attraction: what we think we are … we become. The Universe reflects back to us our key thoughts, whether these are positive or negative.

But there are situations where you have to be willing to put in the effort: you can’t write a book if you don’t start writing … there are many things that are in your own hands. You have to be consistent, you have to show up and be willing.

When you’re willing; when you show up the Universe will have your back. Keep your thoughts positive, don’t begrudge the effort you have to put in. Be pleased with yourself. Pat yourself on the back. If you constantly believe you are not good enough, or you haven’t achieved what you wanted to achieve, you are putting this out to the Universe … and guess what .. the Universe will agree with you. You will feel as if you’re not getting anywhere, that treadmill will just keep going.

Be willing to praise yourself. Be proud that you are getting closer to your goal. Be willing to do what needs to be done.

If it helps, make notes of the things you have achieved and tick things off your to-do list. You’ll be surprised when you start noting down the things you are achieving. The more consistent you are and the less procrastinating you do, you will find you have more energy and fighting spirit.

Here are some quotes from some very successful people:

Perseverance is failing 19 times & succeeding the 20th …

-Julie Andrews-

I start early, and I stay late, day after day, year after year, it took me 17 years and 114 days to become an overnight success.

-Messi-

No matter how talented you are, your talent will fail you, if you’re not skilled. Skill is achieved through practice. Work hard and dedicate yourself to being better every single day.

-Will Smith-

The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but on significance — and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning.

-Oprah Winfrey-

Some people want it to happen, some people wish it would happen, others make it happen.

-Michael Jordon-

I can look back on my life, where there have been moments where things might have gone the other way. Everything is like stepping stones, and I’ve seen people I admire falter. We’re all vulnerable.

-Hugh Jackman-

You control your own life. Your own will is extremely important …

-J.K Rowling-

Every hero doesn’t do this great big hero thing. They do the simple thing over and over… and they stick to it!

-Matthew McConaughey-

Luck has nothing to do with it, because I have spent many, many hours, countless hours, on the court working for my one moment in time, not knowing when it would come.

-Serena Williams-

I’m convinced that about half of what separates successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.

Are You Willing Enough To Achieve Your Goals? – A to Z Inspirational Blog; W is for Willing with Willingness Quotes and Therapeutic Writing

A-Z Inspirational Journey

This week’s inspirational word

W IS FOR WILLING

It’s pretty obvious really that if we want something, we must be willing to put the effort in. Nobody can push us if we’re not willing to be pushed. Just like nobody should be able to stop us if we are willing to push ourselves. You may know from my posts that I’m certified in the Law of Attraction … the LOA says, to relax, to not stress, because you bring more stress to you. So sometimes you may be willing to do what it takes to achieve your goals, but you may be stressing yourself with your over-willingness, your panic and your need to succeed. The universe reflects these feelings back to you, which leads to frustration, as you feel no matter how willing you are, you’re on that treadmill and not getting anywhere.

So, your willingness to put the work in must come from a positive approach. Let go of the angst, the worry, the stress … know that the work you are putting in, your willingness to move your life forward will be reflected back to you. The sooner you think positive clear thoughts, believe and just know that all will be okay, the sooner it will be reflected back to you.

Sometimes we stop willing to succeed because of hurdles or barriers, but if your heart is pulling and your soul is telling you this is your purpose, then you must be willing to overcome any situation that may feel as if it’s holding you back. Often things happen because we need to look deeper into ourselves, or we need to look deeper into the situation, is it trying to tell us something. As you’ll know from my other posts, I truly believe everything happens for a reason, so we must be willing to look for the lessons in anything that steps in our way.

If our heart is telling us this is our purpose, this is our reason for being, then we must be willing to follow our hearts, and most importantly we must be willing to trust our journey. Trust that we are on the right path and that we must overcome obstacles to learn and move forward. We must always be willing to see the bigger picture. If you have that urge inside of you, if your heart and soul are telling you to follow your passions, you must be willing to do what it takes to get there. Through love, effort and belief, you will achieve.

In this week’s therapeutic writing exercise think about your willingness to learn

Do you feel as if you’re being held back? Are you focusing on the negatives? Are you losing your faith? If so, this exercise is perfect for you.

Write down, in list form, all the things that you feel are holding you back. All the things that you believe are stopping you from achieving. Now this could be a certain situation that has happened, or something you are focused on … which you should realise, if you’re focused on the barriers, you’re inviting more barriers …

Take one of the barriers and now freewrite about how you feel it has stopped you progressing … yes, I understand this is negative, however, understanding what is actually stopping you will help you see that it is your attitude that is stopping you, not the actual situation.

Ask yourself, (and write down) what have I gained from this situation (there will be something), what have you taken away that can help you develop as a person and with your goal.

To do this exercise, you must be willing to learn. You must be willing to find the reason behind these barriers, what can you gain from them, what can you do to improve your situation. You must be willing to look at the learning experience of anything that gets in your way, because you will be able to take something away that will help you progress and move forward.

Remember: Positive messages throughout the day, helps the negative thoughts stay away.
