30 Daily Affirmations To Give You A Boost

It’s January, the beginning of a New Year, we’re all fired up to achieve our resolutions, we know we’re going to make this ‘THE BEST YEAR EVER!’

We usually get New Year’s Day out of the way …

Day 2: We are on it!

Day 3 – We did well yesterday, we’ve got this!

Day 4 – This could be harder than we thought!

Day 5 – We give-up maybe next year …

The above may seem extreme, but most of us have been there. Many of us have had good intentions and not even reached day 2, let alone day 5.

I’m of the opinion that it doesn’t matter what day it is, you’ll know when you are ready to make a change. Even when you’re ready, the first few days can feel empowering … and we can start to lose our motivation, or belief, because things are not happening as fast as we would like them too.

If you read my blog or my writings, you’ll know one of my mantras is:

‘small steps count’

There’s a saying: ‘If this was your last day, what would you do today?’

Well, my answer to that is: ‘Take my daughters out of school, drive to hills, drink champagne and have a picnic!’

Now let’s be honest, if I lived every day like it was my last, I’d be an alcoholic and the social services would be making enquiries …

So, on a serious note, I get the meaning behind this quote … but it’s more realistic to ask yourself this question:

‘If I was to die tomorrow, what would I regret NOT doing?’

They’ll be things you want to achieve in your life, and today is the day to think about these things and start putting some plans in place.

If you read my blog, you’ll know I’m obsessed with therapeutic writing. Brainstorming is somewhat the same, you are releasing your thoughts onto paper. Once you do this, think about a plan and a strategy that will help you achieve your goal.

Now here’s the hardest part: putting that plan in place and sticking to it. Every day is important, every day is a new day. Every day is a chance to start again and stay focused. Don’t worry if you have a wobbly day, don’t continue down that spiral, pick yourself up and start again the next day.

One of my favourite quotes is from Zig Ziglar:

‘People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing, that’s why we recommend it daily’

It’s important to keep yourself motivated daily to ensure your goals will be achieved.

Another of my own mantras is:

‘Positive messages throughout the day, help to keep the negative thoughts away’

Surrounding yourself with positive quotes, messages and affirmations are a wonderful way to keep motivated.

They will help you believe in yourself, focus and work hard towards your dream.

In this post, I’ve included 30 affirmations.

These can be purchased and downloaded on my online shop.

Available in 2 different sizes; 4×6 and 8×10.

You can even make this post a favourite and refer back to it daily!

I just personally love having quotes around my home, not only for myself but as inspiration for my daughters and anyone who enters our home.

See below the affirmations you could download, print and frame.

All the above are available on my online inspiring vibes shop.

You can get all 30 prints for ONLY £10.00 … in 2 different sizes!

You can use them to motivate yourself or give as a gift to a loved one who may need a boost.

Or inspire colleagues by placing around your workspace.

5 Signs That You Are Zooming Through Life & How To Slow It Down

How often do you stop to take in your wonderful life? How often do you make a conscious effort to stop what you are doing and take stock of your life? Do you feel too busy and too tired? Can you see the beauty or only the barriers?

Credit: Image by tweetyspics on Pixabay

In life, there is only one guarantee … it will eventually end! As morbid as that sounds, as much as I believe in past-lives and our souls journeying through many lifetimes, this particular lifetime will come to an end at some point. Hopefully, it’s a long way off, however, what are doing to cherish the moments in this lifetime? Are you on the treadmill of life? Just letting the days pass you by?

Here are 5 signs you are zooming through life …

1.You don’t have time for family or friends you make excuses not to see people because you feel as if your schedule is already hectic.

2. You feel as if your free-time doesn’t exist – you don’t feel as if you have a minute to yourself and when you do, you’re far too tired to do anything.

3. You don’t seem to have the motivation to do things – if you’re overtired or overwhelmed by your to-do list it can be hard to motivate yourself to do other things.

4. Every day is a blur and you can’t wait for Friday – if you’re going through the motions of a 9-5 job, hanging onto your weekends, this is a sure sign that you’re simply existing rather than living.

5. You have nothing to look forward too – this doesn’t have to be a holiday or time away, it could be an evening with friends, a night at the cinema … if you have nothing to look forward to, get something booked in your diary.

What can you do to slow things down

All the above link in together, you are wading through each day, waiting for it to end. But you’re too busy to stop doing what needs to be done, you’re lacking the energy to make the changes. Now, if you’re on, what I call, ‘the treadmill of life’, it’s time to make some changes.

You may need some drastic changes; such as a change of lifestyle. This could be a change of job or a healthy change to your routine. Joining a gym or a club. If you feel you need a complete change, think about the things that would make you happy.

I love this question: What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?

If you want big changes in your life sometimes we have to put small steps in place to make this happen. We often don’t make those changes because we can’t see the woods for the trees. Start writing a plan and brainstorm some ideas.

Ask yourself: What can I do today to start making changes?

However, you may not need the changes to be so drastic. You may just feel the mundane routine of life is passing you by. You may feel the excitement is just not there. You can put small things into place such as meeting with friends. Organise a night at the cinema or at the local quiz night. Do something with people who make you laugh. This will soon give you something to look forward to. Start filling your diary up with events. Not so much that you stress yourself out, but even if it’s once a month, even better if you can commit to once a week, but even arranging the first event is a step forward. Once you surround yourself with people whose company you enjoy, you will want to make more time to be with them.

Life is too short to be getting up every morning, getting on life’s treadmill and not getting off until it’s time for bed.

Make the changes, make something happen … push yourself to slow down and enjoy the ride.

10 Ways To Nourish Your Mind

Are you nourishing your mind?

In my last blog post on N is for Nourish, I talked about the importance of nourishing the mind. So this week, I thought I’d talk about ways in which you CAN nourish your mind.

When your mind is nourished, your body and soul will follow. Having a healthy mind is the first steps to having a healthy body & soul. Looking after your mind’s wellbeing is the key to living a happy life.

So here are some ways you can give your mind some TLC:

1.GO FOR A WALK

This is one of my favourites. Getting some fresh air is a great way to feel refreshed because it provides energy and the oxygen intake allows us to feel better. So a twenty-minute walk a day can really help to fight negative emotions, feelings and thoughts.

2. READ / LISTEN TO AUDIO BOOKS

Being a writer, I’m an avid reading. As much as I love fiction, I also love spiritual, inspirational and motivational books. Books that really help me grow and connect with my inner-self & guides. So if I am walking, I will stick on my headphones and listen to books about angels, past-lives, soul-development, living with passion etc. Being certified in the Law of Attraction, I practice mindfulness daily. It truly is important to keep our thoughts positive. When our minds are fresh and in a good place, as the Law of Attraction tells us, we’ll attract good things to us.

3. READ POSITIVE MESSAGES/QUOTES & AFFIRMATIONS

You will find endless positivity on my blog and my shop. When times were at their worst; I was pregnant with our second child, living at my in-laws (because my ex-husband’s business had taken a downward slope practically overnight), we had no idea when we would be able to afford to move out … it was all a bit of a mess! My own family weren’t around to support and it was a very hard time. However, it was at this point in my life when I started to collect inspirational quotes. I would write them down onto a spreadsheet and I couldn’t believe how much it helped.

I realised I had so much to be grateful for. I was pregnant with our 2nd child, how could I not be relishing in this love. We were so lucky that we didn’t need treatment, that I fell pregnant so easily (trust me, if anyone knows anything about depression and sex-drive, you’ll get that we were VERY lucky to fall pregnant so easily!). I was extremely grateful for that. We had a roof over our heads and my in-laws were so lovely, they really looked after us.

So once, I started to look at life from a gratitude point of view, my world changed. It wasn’t long before my husband got a business opportunity and we moved into a 2-bedroomed house, which we rented, but I was so grateful that we had the opportunity to move our life forward & not look at the negative. Since then, I read positive quotes & affirmations daily & I create my own. Hence the reason I set-up my online shop, as I feel it is important to surround yourself with reminders that you do have so much love to give and so much to be grateful for. You can also download my free inspirational messages book, which will show you how to make your own inspirational box.

4. WRITE DOWN POSITIVE MESSAGES/QUOTES & AFFIRMATIONS

As above, it’s just as important to write down quotes & affirmations. I think this really helped me. Just putting them into a spreadsheet. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them, but it truly helped. I did eventually make them into ‘annual quote a day’ books, and the process truly helped. It still does now. I’m a true believer this really works. In fact, my own quote is:

‘Positive messages throughout the day help to keep the negative thoughts away.’

You don’t need to use a spreadsheet, you can use a notebook or something that will inspire you. Buy a blackboard or a noticeboard and write down an affirmation/quote for the day. This will help the whole family come from a place of love and believe in themselves. Perfect for inspiring children. Just like the downloadable inspirational quotes will help to lift our children so that they become well-rounded adults who believe in themselves.

5. THERAPEUTIC WRITING

Now, this is my thing! Being an author, of course, I love writing and I love writing my inspirational blog, so I’m bound to say writing helps. But it’s actually a renowned form of therapy. It’s a great way to explore your emotions. The best way is to simply write, without thinking about WHAT you are writing. Just write. It’s like allowing your mind to be released of any pent-up frustrations. The best of it is, with therapeutic writing, you don’t need to be the best writer, best speller or know your grammar, because that’s not what it is about. It’s about writing for you and releasing toxic thoughts.

You will find writing prompts in my A-Z positive word blog.

Just pick a letter you’d like to work on, read the quotes and have a go at the exercise.

I found it also helps, that once my thoughts have been released, is to then think about what I want from a situation, so I write a ‘fantasy page’, I put out my desires to the universe but on paper, as if I’ve already received them, as if my desires have already happened and how that makes me feel. The thing with the Law of Attraction is, people struggle with imagination, so by writing down how something would make you feel, it’s easier to imagine it. It’s not only a great way to release, but it’s a great way to bring joy into your life. Experts at League City Integrative Counseling and Wellness will offer you guidance and expert advice.

6. LISTEN TO MUSIC / MEDITATE

When many people hear the word meditation, they believe that they can’t meditate, because they can’t sit still for five minutes and think of nothing. Admittedly, I found this a struggle at first, but after trying guided meditations I soon learned how to meditate alone. However, I found that music can be a huge avenue to relaxation, I found this out when I went to a Gabrielle Bernstein seminar. She played, ‘Titanium’ by Madilyn Bailey, she asked us all to stand up, close our eyes, put our hands in the air and feel the music … even as I write this I get shivers.

The feeling of joy and calmness filled my body. Since then, I truly listen to the music. I truly listen to the words and feel the music. A great way to listen to music is when you are out walking or when you are in the car (obviously not to close your eyes, but to feel it) … my girls and I are always blasting music and singing at the top of our voices. They had a friend in the car just yesterday, we blasted some music, we sang, we got our groove on … her friend said, ‘I never want to leave this car.’ It’s amazing how much a good sing-song can release those endorphins … so choose some of your favourite songs and get blasting those vocal cords.

7. START A PROJECT OF LOVE

Do something you love. This could be a scrapbook of a holiday, party or significant life event. Put aside some time to create something. If you’re not a creative person, do something that makes you happy. A passion project that will have you excited.

8. DECLUTTER / MAKE SPACE

This is kind of a given in the world of feng-shui. Clutter and mess can cause disorganisation. Now, I always say I have an ‘organised mess’ because I know where everything is, however, I have to admit I do work better when I’m not surrounded by wildness (I don’t mean nature, although, often feels like I’m sat in the middle of a zoo). There’s a wonderful feeling when you clear out the clutter that is causing your mind to feel like a chaotic roundabout. So book a day in your diary and clear out those cupboards … you may have things you can give to charity or for a car boot sale, whichever, you will feel such a calming release once you are decluttered.

9. INDULGE IN A CROSSWORD/WORDSEARCH/SUDOKU/JIGSAW PUZZLE

This to some people may sound extremely boring, but trust me, these activities truly work. Find something that you’re interested in, even sitting down to a colour therapy book is a great way to switch off, because your mind is concentrating on the task at hand, so other worries can be pushed to the back of your mind.

10. LIMIT TECHNOLOGY TIME

In this day and age, this last one is like swearing at people. How on earth did we live without such technology? When I was a teenager, I remember sitting on the stairs to use the house phone and making sure my sister didn’t pick up the other phone to listen in on our conversation. How times have changed? Don’t get me wrong … I do love the way technology has moved on and things we can do today are amazing, it makes running a business much easier: I can sit in my car on the school run and work on my phone – however, there comes a point when it’s too much. One of the sayings we’ve used as a family is, ‘When in the room, be in the room!’ This means, engage with each other. Make time for each other. Listen to each other. Spend time without our heads in any kind of technological device.

Awesome Quotes On Leaving It Up To Karma

Are you leaving things up to Karma?

When we talk about karma it is often used to refer to ‘negative things’ that have happened. You’ll have heard people referring to Karma in terms of revenge, i.e: ‘They’ll get their karma!’ But Karma isn’t a ‘thing’, imagine it as an energy being transmitted back to you. Whatever you give out, you are receiving back. So think about this quote from Dr. Wayne Dyer,

‘How people treat you is their karma, how you react is yours.’

Therefore, if you feel someone has mistreated you in some way, the worst thing you can do is be full of hatred, anger and wishing them bad karma. You are inevitably wishing it upon yourself. Come from a place of love and simply understand what they put out into the world is what they will receive back. Karma is a loving energy that when embraced will bring to you wonderful loving delights … when we understand this, we come from a place of appreciation and gratitude.

If you’d like to know more about how you can increase your own Karma, you can engage in this therapeutic writing exercise.

If we are feeling mistreated it can sometimes be hard to come from a place of love and forgiveness, so surrounding yourself with reminders to keep hold of a positive attitude will bring good Karma to you.

Below are the Karma quotes featured on my online shop, you can click to print and frame for yourself or family and friends

So remember, it doesn’t matter what others do to you … send them loving good thoughts … karma is always working, make it work for you, not against you.

‘Positive messages throughout the day keep the negative thoughts away.’

Love & happiness to you always

Surround Yourself With Imagination Quotes To Help Your Dreams Come True

Imagination is what can bring dreams into reality

If you read my blog posts, or you’ve heard of the Law of Attraction, you’ll probably understand the quote, ‘Your thoughts create your reality …’ and other quotes similar to this. In other words, what we think about, what we muse upon, what we worry about, what we are happy about … the thoughts that dominate our minds the most, are the thoughts that we project out to the universe and these are delivered back to us, with situations and circumstances representing those thoughts.

Have you ever noticed how miserable people always have something to complain about and how happy people see the brighter side of life? It doesn’t mean that happier people don’t have anything to complain about, it simply means they choose to look at the things they are grateful for, therefore, bringing more happiness to them. Once you start noticing this, you will start to monitor your thoughts.

Whether you believe the above or not, why not start having some fun with it. Use your imagination to create something you want in your life. Imagine receiving it; imagine the feeling of receiving it. The universe responds to feelings … it is all about the emotion connected to your thoughts. Ie: the universe reacts to your feelings and emotions. So if you’re feeling sad and down, it can be hard to get yourself out of that rut. It can be hard to imagine feeling good and happy. So the best way to do this, is to imagine something amazing happening in your life. Imagine how you would feel if you got some good news about something you want. Imagine that feeling. The emotion linked to this is very important. Remember being a child and being able to role-play … bring your inner child to the forefront.

If you would like help even further on using your imagination, you can read the previous post here to help you use your imagination to live the life you have dreamed about, includes quotes and a therapeutic writing exercise.

If you’d like to surround yourself with imagination quotes to remind you to believe in your dreams, you can visit my shop here

Play the imagination game … it’s fun! Visualise and manifest the wonderful, amazing life you deserve. Stay positive and use your imagination to bring positive things into your life. Remember to surround yourself with positive messages, as this works as a reminder to keep your thoughts uplifted and your imagination thriving.

Ten Products That Will Help You Be Courageous

Do you have the courage to pursue your goals?

Do you listen to your ego and not allow yourself to feel the freedom of following your dreams?

You are here for a reason; your passion is your purpose – your purpose is your reason for being.

So have the courage to let go of self-doubts, other people’s doubts and make your life’s purpose, your life mission.

Below I’ve listed some awesome products that can help you find the courage to follow your heart. Before you look through them, why not try out the self-reflective therapeutic creative writing exercise, designed to help you see how courageous you are.

You can be whoever you want to be. You can be the person who trundles through life, whining that it’s unfair because you are not living the life of your dreams, OR you can be the person who courageously took your passion and pursued your life mission with all that you had. No listening to nay-sayers, mood-hoovers and negativity. You can be the person who made it happen.

By choosing the latter, which is the option I insist you have the courage to take, you will see a lift in your energy. This lift is telling you that you’re on the right track. While fulfilling your passion and purpose see how many people are positively affected by you pursuing your goal. By you having the courage to focus on what it is you want from life, you automatically give out positive vibes, these vibes are like a chain reaction, they spread to others and your courage encourages them. Now you may not be able to give up the day job, just yet, but start investing time into your passion. Remember; small steps count. Have the courage to pursue the reason you are here.

Still feel you need a little support? Here are some of my favourite products to help you find your courageous streak.

1. The Courage to Be Creative: How to Believe in Yourself, Your Dreams and Ideas, and Your Creative Career Path

Every time I write about Doreen Virtue’s books, I want to say, ‘This is my favourite’ … all her books are so amazing that I can’t help but be drawn to them all. This particular book truly resonated with me, as being a creative soul that was never encouraged too much as a child, I struggled to conform to the traditional job roles that I was expected to take on. So listening to this, as I did through audible, Doreen Virtue touched my heart and soul. I truly connected with this book and I encourage anyone who is not only creative, but also those who may be at a loss as to what their purpose is, this book will definitely help.

2. Courage Is Contagious: And Other Reasons to Be Grateful for Michelle Obama

This book is short but powerful. A collection of stories from people who have met Michelle Obama, and how she is one of the most awesome and courageous women that changed their lives. Michelle Obama is such an inspiration and listening to real-life stories that have impacted others just made me in more awe of her.

3. Portable Color Me Fearless: 70 Coloring Templates to Boost Strength and Courage

How could I not include this? I love these therapeutic colouring books that have become ever so popular over the last few years, but ‘Color Me Fearless’ what a name! Let your mind drift to your dreams while you build your strength and courage as you create an array of beautiful colours on these 70 templates. Plus, it’s portable … take it with you wherever you go.

4. Notebook Journal – Strong and Courageous

I’m a notebook lover. Most writers I know are also notebook lovers. If we see a notebook we are drawn too, we can’t help but buy it and stash it with our collection of random, unused notebooks. So I couldn’t resist showing you this beautiful notebook, that displays the awesome words, ‘Be strong and courageous’.

5. ‘There is a superman in all of us we just need the courage to put on the cape’ -superman quote

I absolutely adore this quote. If you are struggling with being courageous, this is a great quote to place in your home, so you can see it daily and be reminded that you are strong enough. I’m all about encouraging our children to believe in themselves, they can be whoever they want to be, they can do whatever they want to do … this quote is perfect for a child’s bedroom. A morning and evening affirmation that will give them belief.

6. Muhammad Ali He Who Is Not Courageous Quote – Wall Sticker

Another awesome wall quote that will encourage anyone who reads it. Sometimes we have to be courageous enough to follow our hearts and souls, follow our reason for being, if that means taking some risks, then so be it. However, don’t doubt yourself when you take these risks, you don’t want that doubt being reflected back to you. Believe in yourself. You got this!

7. Courageous Heart Crystal Pendant, made with Crystals from Austria

Any jewellery with a meaning is a must for me. This stunning courageous heart crystal pendant is beautiful. Hearts being ‘my thing’, the contrast of the purple and blue colours and the elegant sparkling diamonds, this is simply fabulous, since is some great jewelry, as other you can get online, as these loose diamonds from Jacob Mercari that are also sold online. This is a gorgeous piece of jewellery that can be worn all the time, so whenever you’re feeling vulnerable, you can wrap your fingers around the perfected sparkly heart and remember you are strong, you are courageous … again, you got this!!

8. Pendant Necklace & Keychain Set – Dog Tag Military Stainless Steel Inspirational Jewelry “Courage Is Not The Absence Of Fear”

These dog tags express the meaning of courage brilliantly. We may have fear but put that aside and have the courage to push yourself forward. Remember what you’ll gain from breaking down those walls of fear. These dog tags can be worn as a pendant, a keychain or attached to a handbag or school bag. Wherever they hang, they are an excellent reminder that you have the courage.

9. Willow Tree Courage (Angel)

Placing ornaments around your home that symbolise certain meanings, is a great way to stay positive. Surrounding yourself with positivity is key to staying positive. I believe this means surrounding your home with positive vibes. Little keepsakes such as this gorgeous angel encourages us to stay focused on our goal. This angel encourages us to have the courage to pursue our dreams.

10. Angelstar Angel Worry Stone, Courage

Worry stones are very popular. They are great to carry in your pocket or a bag to encourage you to stay focused and positive. This gorgeous pocket angel is a worry stone that encourages you to be courageous. If you feel you need some help in being courageous, while you are out and about, this little angel is perfect to carry around with you.

Fear is one of the things that holds many people back. Fear can grab at your insides and not allow you to move forward. This is your ego talking you out of being great. Have the courage to be amazing. Have the courage to follow your heart. Have the courage to pursue your passion. Remember, your passion is your purpose. Don’t let it slip away.

When we have challenges in our lives, it can be difficult to look for the good. We feel as if everything we touch, say or do just isn’t right. If you know anything about the Law of Attraction, you’ll understand the more you feel these things the more upheaval and unhappiness you are attracting. So the best way to deal with any negativity is to look for the positive. Once you look for the positive, and there will be something positive about any challenge you are facing (a lesson learnt, a different path taken … you will find something if you look deep enough), you can turn anything around to be grateful for it occurring. Once you feel this gratitude, you will feel blessed. Writing a gratitude list can really help with counting your blessings, don’t forget to have a go at the self-reflective therapeutic writing exercise, this will help you immensely.

As promised, here are some of my favourite products, to help you on this awesome journey of life blessings.

1 The Blessings Jar: A Story About Being Thankful

Many adults often struggle with looking at life with an abundance of gratitude. If you are one of those adults, and you have children, you are influencing their attitude to life more than you probably realise. You are instilling an ungratefulness within them, a learned behaviour that needs to be unlearned so they can live a life of happiness and joy. Teaching them from a young age is a great way to instil positive thinking. Looking for the positive and being thankful for being, will help them lead a calmer life. Facing challenges head-on and looking for the lessons to be learnt, they will live a fuller life. This book is amazing at teaching your children the importance of gratitude.

The Smudging and Blessings Book: Inspirational Rituals to Cleanse and Heal

This book is full of rituals that will help cleanse your home and body. It’s a great way to bring some positivity into your life. Get rid of any negative energies.

3. Earth Blessings: Using Crystals For Personal Energy Clearing, Earth Healing & Environmental Enhancement

I love crystals. Different crystals can heal specific areas of your life. You may feel you need a certain area of your life to be healed; health, career, home, relationships etc. This book is excellent for helping you bring energy back into that particular area, it not only shows which crystals can help with the blessing of that area, but it offers exercises for 30 earth blessed crystals. You don’t need to be a crystal expert either, this book can help you if you are interested in knowing more about crystal healing.

4. Daily Blessings Cards: 44 Divine Guidance Cards and Guidebook

If you’ve read my other posts, you’ll know I’m a huge fan of Doreen Virtue. Doreen Virtue is amazing. Every book, cards, videos etc. she produces is simply inspiring. Her heart and soul goes into all her guidance material. These cards help us to appreciate daily blessings.

5. Count Your Blessings Jar Set

This small blessings jar is simply gorgeous. If you’ve read through my website, downloaded on downloaded the FREE ‘make your own inspirational box’ from my website, you’ll totally understand why I love this. This beautiful ceramic jar comes with 10 kraft paper hearts where you write down what you are grateful for. That would be my only criticism of this product, is that I wish it came with more paper hearts … but the good thing is, you can make your own. You can simply cut out hearts from any kind of paper (colourful, textured or patterned) and make your own beautiful blessed hearts. This is one of those fabulous inspiring products that brings a great start to your day.

6. Pocket Jar of Good Luck / Blessings Pick Me Up Inspirational Jar

Again, just like the above jar of blessings, I can’t recommend these two products enough. The above is available in the UK. The below in the US. If you’ve already downloaded the free inspirational quotes guide, which will help you make your own inspirational jar, you’ll understand why I absolutely adore these products. They are both great to give that little bit of a blessed boost to your day. They will help steer negative thoughts into positive thoughts. They are both awesome gifts for yourself or for someone who needs a little bit of positivity and encouragement on feeling blessed.

7. Satya Nag Champa Blessings Incense Sticks – Box 12 Packs

I absolutely love incense. They are one of my favourite quick-fixes to ensuring my home offers a clean and fresh aroma. Incense is used for relaxation purposes in therapy and meditation. It is an aromatic biotic material that releases fragrant smoke when burned. They most definitely have a calming effect that flows throughout my home. I have some preferred incense scents, but my favourite is Jasmine. However, this box of incense releases a nice scent that helps a home feel blessed.

8. House Blessing Kits / Sage

Any kit that will bring happiness and peace to my home, I’m there … you should be too. If you feel your home is lacking ‘something’, you’re not sure what, (it could be happiness, peace, positivity) these kits will help to give your space a refresh of positivity that you need. Sage smudging is a traditional, spiritual way to eradicate negative energies. Scientific research actually shows that sage clears bacteria out of the air. This is a great way to give yourself and your home a spiritual clean.

9. Glass Blessings Gold Paperweight

How can this beautiful blessing paperweight not be adored? Although it is quite small, the stunning swirls of gold are deliciously divine. The way the light catches and the patterns interlink, this is a perfect tool to use to count your blessings. A reminder of all the things we have to be grateful for.

10. ‘May your troubles be less your blessings be more and nothing but happiness comes through your door’ sign

I’m a sign collector … yes, I realise that might sound extremely ‘geekish’ but I’ll own that one. I love signs. My home is full of vinyl inspirational signs across the walls, pictures shouting out positivity and a range of signs that give a boost of motivation or quirkiness. So I couldn’t help but be drawn to this sign about blessing and happiness. This sign is like a small, but very significant, prayer. A prayer that offers happy and joyful blessings upon one’s home. A perfect gift for your own home or as a thoughtful gift for a friend.

When you are not feeling very blessed, the above products can help you feel the blessings you need. It’s important to keep yourself motivated continuously. Put things in place that help you achieve goals and dreams. When you achieve these things. Count your blessings daily.

I encourage everyone to do this by surrounding themselves with positivity. The higher your positive vibrations, the higher your energy levels and the higher your spiritual power, the Law of Attraction will bring you more of the good stuff.

Ten Angel Spiritual and Inspirational Books and Products to Help You on Your Journey of Life

Do you feel you need some help in connecting with the angels?

Do you find yourself wondering if they even exist?

Before you read through my favourite products that have helped me connect with the angels, why not try out the therapeutic creative writing exercise, that will help you connect mindfully and peacefully.

Plus, check out my ETSY SHOP … download & print some awesome Angel Quotes and many other Inspirational & Quirky Quotes

Once you start looking out for the signs and making sense of the world we live in, you will feel calmer in knowing that all will be okay. You just have to believe. Once you start truly believing you won’t be scared to ask for help from your angels. They want to help you. They want you to live the best life possible.

As promised, here are some of my favourite products, to help you on this amazing joyful journey.

I’m a huge fan of Doreen Virtue. She writes her books as if she is talking to you personally, as if the angels are talking to you, she glides through her books with such softness, not only does it make the read easy, but knowing the angels are with us makes sense.

So firstly, to get you started on your 2018 inspirational affirmations, I would highly recommend

1. Angel Affirmations 2018 CalendarDoreen Virtue’s, Day to Day Calendar gives powerful messages from the angels. I realise that we are halfway through the year, but this still a fab calender. Catch up on the previous affirmations, or read 2/3 a day … Every day you can be inspired and feel energised by reminding yourself that angels surround us always.

2. How to Hear Your Angels, by Doreen Virtue was one of the first books I read about angels. Doreen Virtue gives a detailed account of the Archangels and how we can call for their help at any time. There are great descriptions on which Archangel to call upon for help for whatever situation you are facing. This book shows how the angels can help with any area of our lives and how to ask for their help. This is another book I keep close, for wherever an issue arises that I’m unsure of how to deal with. There is always an angel waiting to help.

3. Angels: How to See, Hear and Feel Your Angels, by Kyle Gray. Another of my favourite authors. Kyle was spiritual from a very young age. He uses his special gift to bring divine love to others. He shows people how to connect with angels in the softest of ways, his kind approach, even within his writing will draw you in. He uses little stories to show how asking for help from the angels works and mini exercises to show you how to connect.

If you would prefer to listen to the books you can download Amazon’s Audible Membership here.

I love audible. I love listening when I’m driving or when I’m walking. I highly recommend signing up for the membership. I listen to novels and motivational books through audible, there’s something about walking in nature and listening to inspirational words.

4. Crystal Angels Oracle Cards: A 44-Card Deck and Guidebook

When it comes to understanding that the angels are always with us, this can be difficult at first, as we rush through life at top speeds that we forget to take two minutes to breathe and remember that, in the words of the wonderful late Louise Hay, ‘All is well.’ So I advise you carry an angel or wear an item that reminds you that the angels are with you, always. It will not only relax you in times of stress, but you will become accustomed to feeling spiritual energies around you, always.

5. Silver Sterling Angel Wings Pendant Necklaces

One of my favourite angel accessories is my own angel wing pendant. If you’d like a magical pendant of your own, I adore this beautiful Cuoka Silver Jewellery is simply stunning, it’s available in the UK. The stunning diamond wing below is available in the USA.

6. Silver Angel Bracelets

Joma Jewellery Bracelet – A Little Angel (UK)

Katie Loxton Bracelet – A Little Guardian Angel (USA)

I love Joma Jewellery, (Katie Loxton Jewellery USA) I have a collection of their bracelets. I love their simple but elegant cards that display meanings of each particular bracelet. So when I saw this beautiful angel wing bracelet, yes, you got it, I knew I had to have it. There’s something about having an angel on your wrist that makes you feel as if they are holding your hand.

7. Angel Crystal Suncatchers for Home or Car
How can you not love these beautiful angel suncatchers? Perfect for your home or car.
 8. Opal Stone Carved Angel, Opalite Pocket Guardian Angel Gemstone Angel Gift, Reiki Healing Crystals Stone, Psychic-Spiritual Gift

Zoom In On Life & Take Away The Positives – A to Z Inspirational Blog; Z is for Zoom with Quotes and Therapeutic Writing

A-Z Inspirational Journey

This week’s inspirational word

Z IS FOR ZOOM

When I started searching for positive Zoom Quotes, I was surprised there was quite so many, in fact, I became so wrapped up in my search, I spent hours nodding away, agreeing with them and forgetting to put them in my posts, so I’ve selected three of my favourites.

So in the words of, Cynthia Lewis, baby steps count. Keep going. The experts, the specialists, the people who you follow, the people who inspire you … this didn’t happen overnight. Being certified in the Law of Attraction, I’m fully aware what we put out there comes back to us. I believe in the magic of miracles, I believe the universe totally has our back. However, I also know that we are put on a certain path to follow a certain passion. But this passion may need training. We need to learn new skills to enhance our talents. So when you see others succeeding … believe you too, will succeed. Those who you look up to once started out at the beginning too. The universe wants you to be successful, so hold onto that feeling and know that if you follow your heart, magic will happen.

Ask yourself, if you were to zoom there? What would you learn along the way?

Sometimes what holds us back is being judged. Being judged by others. We allow this to hold us back. However, don’t believe that those who you follow and admire didn’t have those fears too. They just chose to ignore them. We never really know what is going on in another person’s head. Plus, usually, there isn’t much chance to zoom in and examine other people. We can study their ways, we can learn from them, but we often seek the facts. If you were to zoom in on the ‘nitty gritty’, it actually may make you feel better, because everyone has a story to tell.

Your story may be a story that will help others. I believe things do happen for a reason, I believe we sometimes have to zoom in on our own lives and ask ourselves, what can we learn from this? Even when life slaps us in the face, I believe there is a lesson to learn. The universe is responding to our thoughts, so it’s important we monitor them. So when life throws us a curveball, zoom in and ask why … Could this be part of your story? Will your story help others? If you zoom in on your own life, but embrace the good and focus on the positive, you will soon begin to understand the why!

In this week’s therapeutic writing exercise is to help you zoom in on your life and find what lessons you have learnt or are learning.

This is a free-writing exercise. Think about a situation that has happened that you weren’t entirely happy about. You may be going through a struggling time at the moment. Free-write about this.

Now zoom in on this situation and ask yourself …

  • Why do you think this happened?
  • Where were your thoughts at the time?
  • What can you take from the situation?
  • Can you change it? If not, then look at moving on. If you can’t change something, then look at what you can learn from it.
  • Even if you can change it, ask yourself … what can you learn from it?
  • Zoom in on the positivity you can take from the situation … there will be something!

Love & happiness to you always
